Wild start to Wild-Card playoffs

Two great games to watch Saturday in what I thought were tossup games going in.

Almost felt bad for KC seeing that 28-point slip away. For Alex Smith and that offense to score 44 without Jamaal Charles was about everything they could do.

But on the other side it was a historical comeback for Andrew Luck and the Colts. You know they were wishing they had Reggie Wayne out there when they fell behind 31-10 at the half, but Luck made do what what he had.

They gotta be killing themselves for giving up a 1st rounder for Trent Richardson. Could have given the same first-rounder for Josh Gordon back then and they’d be much more dynamic.

The Colts have beaten KC twice plus the 49ers, Seahawks and Broncos. So they can beat anyone.

But they were way too sloppy on Saturday with four turnovers to pull off a road win somewhere like Denver or New England.

Can’t wait for Sunday’s games but it’ll be hard for them to be as close as Saturday’s duo.

Saints-Eagles was my toughest pick. But the Saints and Rob Ryan showed the key to given yourself a shot vs. Philly and that’s to tackle and not give up the big play.

Saints will need to reach a new level to stage an upset at Seattle.
